1How does the card work?
Prepaid MasterCard® works anywhere you can pay with MasterCard®. (Both pos and online) it is prepaid so you put on how much you want.
2What do I need to apply for a Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard®?
When applying for a Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® Silver you can simply place your order. (No documents required) When applying for a Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® Gold, you will need to bring the following documents to one of our branches or local resellers:
  • -A valid form of identification (ID or passport or driver license)
  • -Proof of residence (Bank statement or utility bill on your name of gas or water bill)
Please keep in mind that when applying online you will receive a confirmation email with all this information.
3What is the price of the Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® with name?
The price for the Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® is € 75. (Card only with € 0 funds) When you place the order you will get the option also to add funds to your card.
4How do I order a Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® with my name on it?
To order a Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® with your name on it, please do the following:
  • 1. Go to https://account.flamingoservices.global/cart.php?gid=2
  • 2. Select “Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card with name"
  • 3. Click on “Order now”
  • 4. Click on “Continue” and then “Checkout”
  • 5. Fill in your details
  • 6. Choose a payment method (if cash select Pay at Reseller €500 or less)
  • 7. “Complete Order”
5What is the price of the Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card without name?
The price for the Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® without name is € 60. (Card only with € 0 funds)
6How long should I wait after I placed the reload order and paid through the bank?
The Processing time is within 5 working days after we received the payment.
7Can I use my card at local ATM’s?
Yes, you can use the Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card to withdraw funds at any ATM machine that accepts MasterCard®. Please note:
  • -You will receive the funds in the local currency of the country your in. [Please check the ATM’s bank currency exchange  rate of the day]
  • -Additional ATM fees from your card:
  • -Cash Withdrawal € 3.50-Cash Withdrawal Decline € 00.55
  • -ATM Balance Inquiry € 1.00
8How do I upgrade my Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card?
To upgrade your card, please follow these simple steps: Login https://icwd.cardportal.com/login.aspx go to “My Account” Select “Fees” Click “Upgrade” Select “How to Upgrade” and “My Proof Of ID”. You can find information on what type of documents are accepted and upload your documents.
9When does my card expire?
Flamingo cards expire after 2-3 years. Generally, a card can be used through the last day of the month in which it expires. The expiration date of your MasterCard® is written on the front of your card. First the Moth then the Year. Example: 12/19 means the card expires on the last day of December in 2019.
10Do I need to purchase another Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card if I want to reload my MasterCard®?
You don't need to purchase another Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® if you want to reload it, you can simply reload on the same Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard®
11Can I reload my card in my local currency?
Yes, you can reload your Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card in the local currency of your reseller. Please ask for your currency exchange rate of the day.

The Processing time is within 5 working days after we received the payment.
14There is an incorrect transaction on my statement, what should I do?
If you notice something wrong on your statement, you may be the victim of fraud, skimming or simply a human mistake. Please visit one of our branches or resellers or call our customer support department on +597 8936507
15How can I check my card balance?
You can check your credit card balance at any ATM with a MasterCard® logo that allow that service or through your Flamingo MasterCard® Online system. You can check your debit card balance in your CardPortal:

16Can I connect my Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® with PayPal?
Yes, you can link your PayPal account to the card so that you can make payments with paypal.

17Can I use my card without any money on it?
No. You can use your card only once it has been activated and you have funds loaded on the card. You risk losing the card to the ATM if you try withdrawing money before it has been activated or loaded.
18Can I use the card on the internet?
The Prepaid card may be used for online transactions wherever MasterCard® is an accepted form of payment.
19How do I activate my card?
You will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your card from CardPortal activations. This email includes the access code you must use to sign in to https://icwd.cardportal.com/login.aspx. Upon first login (using your card number and access code), you will be prompted to update your personal details. Once you have updated your details, you card is active to receive a maximum load of € 80.000 year.
20How do I reload my Prepaid MasterCard® card?
To reload your Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard®, please do the following: 1. Log into your Flamingo Telecom account (not your MasterCard® account) 2. Click “Billing” 3. Click “click Add Funds" 4. Enter amount Payment is made at one of our branches, resellers or via IDEAL, BANK TRANFER or PAYPAL. If you choose “BANK TRANSFER as payment methode, use your INVOICE number only as reference or description or else the the system will not accept it.
21How does my card work at a cash machine (ATM)?
Your card can be used at any cash machine that displays the MasterCard® Acceptance Mark. Note: Do not try to withdraw funds from your card until your card is activated and funds have been loaded onto it. Otherwise, you risk losing your card to the machine.
22Is my Prepaid card safe to use on the internet?
Yes, you can use your prepaid card on the internet but we advise that you take the following precautions when using any card on the internet: Only use secure reputable sites – lookout for the padlock symbol and ‘https’ in the URL. When you have finished conducting online transactions or visiting secure websites, remember to properly log-off and close your browser. This will ensure that any information that is stored on your computer or in your browser is erased. You should never give out your PIN when buying online. We will never contact you and ask for your card details so never provide them over the phone or by email as this maybe phishing (a fraudster pretending to be a card issuer / bank and attempting to gain your card / account information).
23My card has stopped working, why?
This could be for a number of reasons: 1. Your card is damaged. 2. The card has expired (please check the expiry date on the card itself. If your card is expired please contact CardPortal Support or your merchant for a new one.) 3. You have reached your daily limit. 4. There are insufficient funds remaining on the card. If you continue to have problems please contact us.
24What is the difference between my access code and my PIN?
Your access code is the password required to activate and login to your card account online; This code is received by email and can be reset upon request. Your PIN is the ‘Personal Identification Number’ associated to the card account, and is required to withdraw funds and to make purchases at selected ATMs and Points of Sale worldwide. You will create your own 4 digit PIN number during your card activation process.
25Where can I use my Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard®?
With your Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card, you can pay virtually anywhere, and it gives you the purchasing power to make that must-have item yours right away. In addition, many car rentals, hotels and online stores require you to have MasterCard®, making it a truly essential tool for modern life, travel and business.
26Why can’t I log into my card account online?
The log-in process is case sensitive, so make sure to type in both your username and password exactly as you first defined them. If you forgot your password, or your login still isn’t working, contact Customer Support.

Yes, you can receive funds on your card via our branches or local resellers or online via the website of Flamingo Telecom using IDEAL, FLAMINGO TELECOM BV, Netherlands, IBAN: NL75KNAB0255333692, SWIFT: KNABNL2H, Ref: your 6 last digit MasterCard® number, your name and the invoice number you gave your client.
31Does Flamingo Telecom have a IBAN number?

32How do I put funds on my Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard®?
You can put funds on your card via our branches or local resellers or online via the website of Flamingo Telecom using IDEAL TELECOM BV, , PAYPAL, BANCONTACT, CREDIT CARD or BANK TRANSFER to FLAMINGO Netherlands, IBAN: NL75KNAB0255333692, SWIFT: KNABNL2H, Ref: your MasterCard® number.
33What should I do when my Flamingo Prepaid MasterCard® card is lost or stolen?
Report a lost or stolen card immediately through your card portal and request a new card with a discount of € 35. Please call +44 (0)844 7744 767 or visit your local reseller. Monday to Friday 14.00 – 22.00 GMT and 15.00 – 23.00 CET. Email: help.paycard@cardportal.com
34How do I put funds on my Card?
Adding money to your Mastercard account is quick and easy. You can link a bank account or use Mastercard CASH® to add funds to your Mastercard account.

1How to activate my sim ?
  • 1. Put the simcard in your phone and reset your phone
  • 2. After a few seconds you will receive an sms message with the UK number that is assigned to your SIM
  • 3. The sim will select a network in the country you are in
  • 4. Go to connections on your phone and activate the roaming option
  • 5. Activate the APN – globaldata - to use data on your phone
  • 6. Top Up your credit to make calls or activate a dataplan
2Accessing data/Change APN
Before you can access data on your SIM, the APN (access point name) settings on your handset needs to be updated.
3For Tablets/Android and MIFI Devices or manual phone setup
  • 1.Locate the APN settings and enter following into the APN settings: Name: globaldata APN: globaldata Username: (leaveblank) Password: (leave blank)
  • 2.Save the APN and ensure it is selected.
  • 3. Select a network provider
4To set the APN on an iOS device
  • 1.Insert the SIM
  • 2.Connect the handset to WIFI
  • 3.Dial *172# and click on the link sent in a SMS
    • If this does not work please advise the subscriber to do following:
      • 1.While Wifi is on and the iPhone has Internet access, open safari and go to: m.apnchanger.org
      • 2.Select “manually”
      • 3.Enter global data (all lower case and written as one word) in the APN field, no need for username and password.
      • 4.Click on install
